Trim Levels (Exterior)
The 2023 Challenger has round headlights and prominent upper and lower front grilles. It comes in 10 trim levels: SXT, GT, R/T, R/T Scat Pack, R/T Scat Pack Widebody, SRT Hellcat Jailbreak, SRT Hellcat Widebody Jailbreak, SRT Hellcat Redeye Jailbreak, SRT Hellcat Redeye Widebody Jailbreak, and SRT Super Stock. With the base SXT, you'll get a rear spoiler, air intakes on the hood, 18-inch wheels, and tinted windows. Manually folding heated side mirrors and all-season performance tires are standard as well.
Options include a sunroof, 19- or 20-inch wheels, rain-sensing windshield wipers, and fog lights. Granite, Destroyer Gray, F8 Green, Octane Red, Frostbite, B5 Blue, Plum Crazy, Sublime, Pitch Black, TorRed, Triple Nickle, Go Mango, White Knuckle, and Sinamon Stick exterior colors are available. You can also choose a black hood or racing stripes on the hood.
Engine (Power)
The Challenger offers five engines. SXT and GT trims have a 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 that generates 303 horsepower and 268 pound-feet of torque. The R/T uses a 5.7-liter HEMI V-8 that offers 375 horsepower and 410 pound-feet of torque, and it can use only four cylinders to conserve gas when you don't need full power.
The R/T Scat Pack has a 6.4-liter HEMI V-8 that offers 485 horsepower and 475 pound-feet of torque, and the SRT Hellcat trims use a 6.2-liter, supercharged HEMI V-8 that makes 717 horsepower and 656 pound-feet of torque. There's also a high-output version that produces 807 horsepower and 707 pound-feet of torque.
Performance
This car has an eight-speed automatic transmission, and a six-speed manual transmission is optional. It can reach 60 mph in just 5.3 seconds, and it can pull up to 1,000 pounds. The motor is loud to people standing outside, but it sounds quiet to drivers and passengers. The all-wheel-drive models come with a rear-wheel-drive mode to help you save fuel. With the SRT and R/T Scat Pack trims, you'll get Track, Sport, Custom, Valet, Eco, and Auto driving modes. In Valet mode, people need your permission to change any settings.
Interior
The 2023 Challenger can carry five people and up to 16.2 cubic feet of cargo. Standard features include dual-zone climate control, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, keyless entry, a cabin air filter, cruise controls for the steering wheel, folding rear seats, voice activation, and speed-sensitive volume control. You can add an 8.4-inch touchscreen, navigation, paddle shifters for the steering wheel, a Wi-Fi hotspot, heated and ventilated front seats, and a 19-speaker Harman Kardon audio system with two subwoofers and a 900-watt amplifier.
Safety Features
Standard safety features include braking assistance, a rearview camera, hill start assistance, and a security system with an engine immobilizer. Multistage airbags can work at different speeds for better protection. Blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-path detection, adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, electronic stability control, and traction control are optional.
