Trim Levels (Exterior)
There are 11 trims for the 2023 Wrangler: Sport, Willys Sport, Sport S, Freedom, Willys, Sport Altitude, Rubicon, Sahara, Sahara Altitude, High Altitude, and Rubicon 392. Sport is the lowest trim and comes with 17-inch black steel-styled wheels, while Rubicon 392 is the highest trim and comes with 17-inch beadlock-capable wheels. The high altitude trim comes with 20-inch fully-painted aluminum wheels.
Colors for the 2023 Wrangler depend on the trim you select, but some color options include Granite Crystal Metallic, Sting-Gray, Silver Zynith, Earl, Hydro Blue, Firecracker Red, Punk-n Metallic, High Velocity, Sarge Green, and Bright White.
Engine (Power)
There are five engines you can choose for the Wrangler. The 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 engine comes with an automatic transmission and has an output of 285 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque. It averages around 24 mpg on the highway, which is about the same as the 2.0-liter turbo engine. The 2.0-liter turbo engine has an output of 270 horsepower and 296 pound-feet of torque. If you want something a little more fuel efficient, you can go for the plug-in hybrid powertrain, which includes a 2.0-liter direct-injection turbo engine. It has an output of around 375 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque.
With a driving range of up to 370 miles and a combined fuel estimation of 49 mpg, the hybrid powertrain can take you further. If power is your preference, you may choose the 6.4-liter HEMI V-8 engine, which has whopping 470 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque. The 3.0-liter EcoDiesel engine has an output of 260 horsepower and 442 pound-feet of torque and averages 29 mpg on the highway.
